Daniel Levy will use the money from Tottenham’s bumper new sponsorship deal to improve Mauricio Pochettino’s squad, according to the Times.
They report that the £360 million deal that Spurs have signed with AIA is the joint second most valuable in the Premier League and will allow Pochettino to compete on a more even keel with his rivals.
The report also says that Spurs are plotting a bid for Juventus hitman Paulo Dybala, and some of the money is going to come from this new commercial deal.
There have been plenty of skeptics that Spurs will spend the money required to get the Argentine, but Levy looks to have found a way to get the cash for the deal.

Make no mistake about it, landing Dybala would be an enormous show of intent from Tottenham, who have been famously frugal for far too long.
But Levy has always been keen to make sure that the club is on an even financial footing before spending big, but now that the sponsorship deal and the new stadium is in place, that looks to be the case.
Dybala would add a new dimension to the Spurs attack and signal that Tottenham are willing to spend the money required to chase the major honours on a regular basis.
It remains to be seen if Tottenham can get the deal over the line, but Levy at least looks to have a plan to avoid it.
