Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly reluctant to let Dele Alli leave this month amid renewed interest from Paris Saint-Germain, according to The Telegraph.
The future of the 24-year-old at Spurs remains uncertain, with Jose Mourinho seemingly having run out of patience with him, but Levy remains a big fan of the player.
Alli has made just five starts for Tottenham this season and, worse still, has twice been replaced at half-time, coming off against Everton in the Premier League and Antwerp in the Europa League.

Just before Christmas, Jose Mourinho gave Alli his first start since 26 November in Tottenham’s League Cup quarter-final tie at Stoke.
The proverbial script should’ve involved a superb display from the England international that won his manager, peers and fans over – “Dele is back”, or something along those lines.
Instead, Mourinho took him off in the 66th minute and criticised him after the game, accusing him of “creating problems for his own team” for his role in the opposition’s goal.
Since then, Alli has once again been left on the bench, not featuring against Wolves, Leeds or Brentford – it’s hard to see a way back for him.
According to The Telegraph, PSG – now with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino at the helm – have put together a new move to try and sign the player on loan.
The report adds that Tottenham may not wish to sanction a loan move quickly, with Giovani Lo Celso and Gareth Bale currently injured, and the club would want to be sure the duo do not suffer any setbacks.
In addition, Levy apparently still believes that Alli could regain his best form and be a big asset for Spurs, though at the same time, will be aware that he’ll be well looked after and given plenty of opportunities under Pochettino.
A loan move at this stage is a no-brainer, as the £100,000-a-week ace needs to get out of Spurs for his own sake – sentiments echoed by Tottenham legend Garth Crooks a few weeks ago.

And in the long term? Well, this depends on a lot of things.
If Alli bounces back at PSG under Pochettino, why would he want to then come back to Spurs? Would Mourinho want him back? And would Levy look to bring him back or accept that it’s better if he was sold?
As things stand, Alli has no future under Mourinho and it’s best for all parties were he to find a new club and hopefully find himself again.
