Dani Alves sends Instagram message to Manchester City star Kyle Walker on Tuesday

Kyle Walker has posted on Instagram once again after holding aloft his third Premier League trophy, in a season that could see the Manchester City defender win three trophies – prompting reaction from Barcelona and Brazil legend Dani Alves, who congratulated the Man City star.

Walker, who turns 31 on Friday, has been in excellent form for Pep Guardiola’s side after a tricky start to the campaign – in which he dropped out of the side and replaced by Joao Cancelo. But he has ended up appearing 41 times for City, becoming a crucial member of the side.

He helped City in 24 of their 38 Premier League matches and with City winning the league – the ex-Tottenham defender has now clocked up his third league title since moving to City in 2017. Walker has already won the Carabao Cup this season and could win the Champions League.

Following his post, Walker received praise from one of the sport’s best ever right-backs in the form of Alves. The Brazilian, who has played a total of 933 games for both club and country at professional level and at 38, continues to shine for Sao Paulo, sent Walker a six-word message in the comments.

Celtic fans left short-changed by Sky Sports once again

Walker’s week got even better, after being named in Gareth Southgate’s prelimininary 33-man squad on Tuesday afternoon for this summer’s European Championships.
