Czech Republic manager Jaroslav Silhavy claims that West Ham’s Tomas Soucek has got even better since his move to the London Stadium.
Soucek, who earns £67,000-a-week (Spotrac), joined the Hammers on an initial loan deal last week.
The 26-year-old’s move was made permanent in the summer, and he’s now one of the most vital figures at the London Stadium.
He’s an all-action central midfielder that gets through so much defensive work, but on top of that he’s scored nine Premier League goals so far this season.
The 6ft 4in colossus also netted a hat-trick last week in Czech Republic’s 6-2 win over Estonia in a World Cup qualifier.
Silhavy has stated that Soucek has gone up a gear since his exit from Slavia Prague.
“Tomas plays very well in the Premier League. I am really not surprised because he is really hard working,” Silhavy told The Sun.
“He’s already played in the Champions League for Slavia Prague and was very good – but now he is even better.”

TBR’s View:
It’s no surprise that Soucek is getting better as he matures and gains more experience.
The fact that he’s now playing better opposition on a weekly basis in the Premier League must be a huge help to him.
Additionally, he’s a perfect fit for English football with his strength and athleticism.
West Ham are in the mix for the Champions League positions this season, with the midfield duo of Soucek and England international Declan Rice so instrumental to their success under manager David Moyes.
