Crystal Palace are weighing up a £30 million bid to land Brentford duo Neal Maupay and Ollie Watkins, according to reports from the Sutton and Croydon Guardian.
French talisman Maupay has already caught the eye of Aston Villa, Sheffield United and Norwich this summer (Evening Standard) and Palace have now entered the race.
The 22-year-old netted 28 goals last season and he looks almost certain to depart Griffin Park during the transfer window.
Watkins is a year older than his team-mate and operates on either flank or in the hole behind an out-and-out striker. He netted 12 goals and registered nine assists during 2018/19.

Palace boss Roy Hodgson will be in the market for some new recruits this summer. The Eagles finished 12th last season and they will hope to edge closer towards a top-half finish next time around.
TBR Verdict
Watkins and Maupay would represent quality bits of business for the Eagles this summer.
Hodgson knows he won’t attract the elite players to Selhurst Park and if he can land the Brentford pairing for £30 million he could have landed a bargain.
Maupay’s goal ratio last season was stunning and he has all the attributes to score goals in the Premier League.

Watkins would be more of an unknown quantity to Palace supporters. He would arrive on the back of a stunning campaign for the Bees, however, and his pace could cause Premier League defenders all kinds of problems.
The Eagles could land a windfall this summer. Wilfried Zaha and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have both been linked with big-money moves away from Selhurst Park.
It would seem likely that Palace would only splash out £30 million on the Championship pair if one of their current star men was sold.
