Crystal Palace are no strangers to utilising the loan system.
In recent years, the Eagles have done business with England’s top clubs, taking talents such as Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mamadou Sakho from Chelsea and Liverpool respectively.
Now, the south Londoners could be about to make another of these moves.
Who could arrive at Crystal Palace?
As revealed by Fabrizio Romano, Crystal Palace have enquired about taking Amad Diallo on loan from Manchester United.
The 19-year-old only recently arrived in Manchester, signing from Atalanta for an initial £18.7m – the deal could still rise by another £17m in add-ons.
Diallo scored his first goal for Manchester United against AC Milan back in March, flicking a genius header beyond Gianluigi Donnarumma at Old Trafford.

Of course, some Crystal Palace fans may prefer to see their own talent, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, developed.
However, this is one Patrick Vieira simply can’t miss out on.
Amad Diallo, Lionel Messi and Riyad Mahrez
Interestingly, Luke Shaw has compared his precocious Manchester United teammate to Manchester City forward Riyad Mahrez.
On another occasion, Papu Gomez – who played with Diallo at Atalanta – said the wonderkid plays like Lionel Messi.

As quoted by Manchester United’s official website, Gomez said: “There are defenders in the first team that sometimes cannot stop him. To stop him in training, we have to kick him! He plays like Messi.”
A left-footed forward, Diallo would be perfect for the Eagles, who are lacking a natural right winger who cuts in after Andros Townsend’s exit.
A frontline of Wilfried Zaha, Eberechi Eze, Michael Olise and Diallo is simply mouthwatering stuff – hopefully, the deal gets done.
