Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with a move for Championship star Bradley Dack. As reported by The Express, Mauricio Pochettino’s men are hoping to snap up the Blackburn Rovers star on a deal in January.

The 24-year-old has been in fine form this season. The midfielder has eight goals and five assists in 11 games for the club, hence the positive scouting reports that have led Tottenham to show interest.

Of course, he has been linked with Premier League clubs in the past. Crystal Palace have been reportedly interested in the past.

In May 2016, Palace were linked with a £2 million move for the player by the Daily Mail. At the time, he had been in fine form for Gillingham in League One. He rejected a move to Bristol City the previous January, as he hoped to win promotion with the Kent club.

However, when that did not happen it became clear he would be on his way. Crystal Palace looked to be one of the clubs in the running.

But no deal ever came off.

He remained with the Gills, but after battling relegation more than promotion, he left last summer. He joined Blackburn for just £750,000. He went on to score 18 goals and assist 11 in a brilliant campaign, winning the League One Player of the Year award for the second time.

Crystal Palace could have been a perfect location for Dack to hone his craft and they could have been reaping the dividends now. Instead, it looks like he could be heading off to one of the Premier League’s top six.
