Crystal Palace are reportedly eyeing Newcastle United attacker Allan Saint-Maximin – and some Palace fans on Twitter are keen to sign him.
According to the Daily Mail, the 22-year-old’s future at St James’ Park is in doubt after he was dropped by manager Steve Bruce at the weekend.
It is understood that the French winger is fully fit despite comments from Bruce that he’s got a hamstring problem, plus there have been concerns about his performances in training.
The report details that both Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers are monitoring developments of the 22-year-old.
Saint-Maximin has had some injuries since he joined Newcastle last summer, but overall he’s excited the club’s supporters so far on Tyneside.
The left-winger has two goals and two assists in 19 games across all competitions, but those numbers don’t quite do him justice.
He’s a speed machine that adds a real spark to the Magpies she when he plays and has shown he can beat defenders one-on-one with ease.

A selection of Palace supporters on social media are desperate to see Saint-Maximin join them at Selhurst Park next season and would like the club to move for him in the summer.
He’s under contract with Newcastle until 2025, but it will be intriguing to see how the rest of the season goes for him.
