Crystal Palace fans react as Tottenham reportedly battling Everton for Zaha
Tottenham and Everton are reportedly going head to head in the race to sign Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha this summer, with the Ivory Coast international open to offers in the coming months – and Palace fans have reacted on Twitter to the latest reports that their talisman could depart.
Zaha, 28, has been excellent for Palace once again this season – finishing the season on 11 goals in 30 Premier League appearances for a side that predominantly focus on nullifying the opposition and playing on the counter. With Roy Hodgson leaving, Zaha could follow him out the door.
Goal report that both Tottenham and Everton are interested in signing the one-time England international – that has since switched his allegiance to Ivory Coast where he has since clocked up 18 caps. It is claimed that the ex-Manchester United star will cost interesting clubs a fee of £40million.
Palace fans have reacted to the reports that both Tottenham and Everton want to sign their best player, and many have joked that Zaha will not win trophies at either club – after stating he wants to leave to win silverware. One Palace fans wants a player-plus-cash deal of Dele Alli and £25million.
