Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth this summer as he continues to thrive on loan at Turkish side Trabzonspor – and Palace supporters have reacted on Twitter.
Turkish website Fanatik have claimed that Liverpool are just one of a number of sides interested in signing 24-year-old striker Sortloth. Other Premier League clubs have been linked, as have European giants Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Sortloth joined Palace in January 2018 from FC Midtjylland for a fee of £9million (Sky Sports), after he had netted 15 goals in 26 games for Midtjylland – and laid on nine assists. For Palace, though, he was a lot less prolific.

Indeed, the 22-time Norway international has netted just one goal in 20 Palace appearances – and that saw the London club offload him to Trabzonspor on a two-year loan deal. In his first season, Sorloth has absolutely starred.
Sorloth has sprung onto the radar of numerous top-flight clubs after netting 25 goals in 39 league and cup appearances – as well as creating seven assists. Trabzonspor have a permanent clause in his contract, and they may activate such a deal.
But with Liverpool now said to be linked with a move for Sorloth, many Palace supporters have reacted on Twitter to the news that the Selhurst Park flop could be on his way to Anfield – and many are astounded.
