Reports have claimed that interested clubs could sign Alfredo Morelos from Rangers this summer for a bargain £13million, amid reported interest from a number of Premier League sides – and Crystal Palace fans have reacted on Twitter.
Goal claim the race is hotting up to sign the 23-year-old striker, with Premier League quartet Leicester City, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace are all keen on netting the Rangers hothead this summer.
The report also claims that Spanish trio Valencia, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are all keen, while a move to Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan is also potentially on the cards – but the Colombia international may have to play second fiddle to Romelu Lukaku.
But perhaps the most important part of the report is that interested parties can net Morelos for a bargain £13million, a fee much cheaper than previously believed. Indeed, Steven Gerrard said he would not sell Morelos for £50million in January.
Among other sides, Palace have long been linked with a move for the striker – woth Roy Hodgson set to enter the market for a new forward in the coming months. Christian Benteke continues to struggle, while Conor Wickham is likely to leave.
Hearing that Morelos is available for a bargain fee of just £13million, many Palace fans took to Twitter to urge their club to sign the former HJK Helsinki striker this summer – after he has scored 29 goals this season.
