Crystal Palace defeated Arsenal on Sunday to guarantee themselves Premier League football again next season. The 3-2 victory took the Eagles to 42 points and has Roy Hodgson’s team looking towards the top half of the division.
Next season will be all about pushing the team onto the next level. Palace will be buoyed by the fact that Watford, Wolves and Leicester have all challenged in and around the top ten all season.
In order to do that Hodgson will need to ensure that he enters the transfer market in the summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Palace want to land Aston Villa star Jack Grealish in order to replace Wilfried Zaha who could leave at the end of the campaign.

The 23-year-old has overseen a remarkable revival for the Villans. With Grealish at the forefront of their attacking prowess, Dean Smith’s men have won ten on the trot and are now certainties for the play-offs.
Amazing talent
Grealish wouldn’t really be like-for-like in terms of replacing Zaha but he would represent a solid signing nonetheless. He has six goals and six assists to his name this season and but for injury, he would probably have more. It is fair to say that he is the type of player that can propel Palace to the next level.

Given his age, he would represent a great investment. Although the Daily Mail piece appears to suggest that Spurs still hold interest, there is an argument that a move to Selhurst Park would be better for Grealish.
For starters, he would play more football and that should be a decisive factor in any decision Grealish takes to leave the club.
The Villa man is paid £25k-a-week (Silly Season) at Villa Park and would represent an adequate replacement for Zaha.
