Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol asked Mikel Arteta about Takehiro Tomiyasu.
What’s the story?
Well, Arsenal fans think Solhekol was a bit cheeky earlier.
Back in the summer, the Sky Sports reporter claimed on live TV that Tomiyasu wasn’t really a right-back or a centre-back.
Solhekol added that he had also been offered to most clubs in the Premier League, in comments that did the 22-year-old a bit of a disservice.
Now, the Sky Sports reporter is said to have asked Arteta about how well Tomiyasu has started life in the Premier League.
Clearly, some Arsenal fans feel he doesn’t have a right to jump on the bandwagon after somewhat tarnishing the defender’s reputation.
Arsenal have a gem in Takehiro Tomiyasu

For just £16m, Arsenal may have found a gem in Tomiyasu.
At 22, he could quite easily be a part of Arsenal’s backline for the next decade, barring a move away or any injury problems.
In this day and age, value like that is hard to find.
Additionally, he can also play at right-back or centre-back, so it gives Arteta some welcome flexibility in how he organises his defence.

Comments like Solhekol’s – on live TV – won’t have helped Tomiyasu one bit, as he came to a new country at a fairly young age.
Nevertheless, it seems like he has blocked everything out and focused on his football – it’s certainly showing in his excellent performances.
For now, let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about the situation…
