Tottenham Hotspur’s injury problems in attack has seen plenty of fans calling for a youngster to get a first-team chance. Troy Parrott, the Irish sensation, is the name most often shouted as a potential replacement for the injured Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.
However, could Tottenham boss Mourinho instead look at a player Spurs signed in June.
The player in question is Kion Etete. As reported by the Nottingham Post, Tottenham paid a fee in the region of £200,000 for the player in the summer.
The young forward had previously spent time on loan at Tottenham and clearly did enough to earn himself a move to North London.

The 18-year-old had previously made six appearances for Notts County in the 2018-19 season and looks to be a big prospect for the future. This season, he has scored eight goals in 13 games for Tottenham’s under-18s and at 6ft 4ins, would provide a more physical threat in attack that Jose Mourinho might appreciate.
It is clear that, for whatever reason, Mourinho is not sold on Parrott and Etete seems to be the next best option for Spurs.
Of course, Etete is raw and in an ideal situation, Tottenham would not consider calling up a player who has yet to score for the Tottenham under-23s this season.
But given his size and as a potential motivating factor to Parrott, it is not inconceivable that Mourinho might give Etete a chance.
