Winston Reid
The New Zealand international is 28, so a lot older than Stones, but is a proven, quality centre-back in the Barclays Premier League having played his football for West Ham United since 2010.
In that time, Reid has firmly established himself at the Hammers, with 146 appearances in which he has found the back of the net six times.
But it’s not his goal scoring capability that Everton will be interested in, for it is his prowess at prevent shots from hitting the back of the other end that is his greatest trait.
Reid is a no nonsense, tough centre-half who also has a good turn of pace, and would be an asset to Everton’s back line.
However, with West Ham’s recent upturn on form, would the New Zealander really want to leave the team just as they are entering a new, exciting era?
