Antoine Griezmann
The Frenchman is one of the most sought after players in Europe and it would certainly take some persuasion for Wenger to bring him to the Emirates.
However, should Diego Simeone choose to depart, it may trigger somewhat of an exodus at Atlético Madrid and Griezmann would have a host of clubs to choose from.
The forward can play as a striker or on the wing and his versatility will appeal to any top European club and his ability to score goals even in games with few chances is something to admire.
The 25-year-old would probably cost Arsenal upwards of £60 million, but Wenger will surely not hold back with any funds given to him this summer, as he cannot risk not challenging for the title next season.
Griezmann; who reached the Champions League final with Atlético Madrid last season, would be an ideal replacement for Sanchez but with the Frenchman set to showcase his talent in a France shirt at Euro 2016 this summer, his price tag could well rise.
Alexis Sanchez leaving would disappoint most Arsenal fans but with Wenger supposedly ready to splash the cash, the fans may have reason to be optimistic that an influx of talent will walk through the door at the Emirates this summer.
