Giorgio Chiellini

He’s seen it all and has pretty much won it all. Chiellini is a modern defensive great. The Juventus man could well be on the move to Chelsea this summer after he was a defensive lynch-pin for Antonio Conte during his three consecutive Scudetto victories.

Stats can’t put Chiellini’s utter  expertise of the modern game into perspective, really. The 31-year-old left-sided centre-back would slot in perfectly along side Kurt Zouma and there are few better players to help mould the highly-talented French centre-half.

Chiellini has now won five Serie A titles in a row and, should he fancy a change, a move to West London would be absolutely ideal for him.  An icon in Italy, his no-nonsense approach would go down a treat with the Chelsea faithful.
