Micah Richards: Micah Richards is a man whose talent is visible through his achievements in the game. Having been a key player in Manchester City’s title triumph in 2011-12, Richards career has taken a tumble since losing his place in the City line-up to Pablo Zabaleta. A failed loan move to Fiorentina and then the move to Villa has since seen his stock fall massively. Richards still has plenty to offer to clubs across the division, having experienced winning the title all the way to the impending relegation this season. Not only in regards to his experience, Richards still has the ability to be playing Premier League football next year.

A physical player, not many strikers would relish a duel with Richards on his day, but with reference to this season, these days have not been regularly enough. If Richards was part of a more settled back four and under the right tuition, he can improve on his tackling and interception numbers of around two this season, and become the player everyone thought he would before the end of his time at Manchester City. Given his pass completion rate of 85%, Richards would not be out of place in a possession based system too, showing he is able to play from the back.

Having the level of experience he does, combined with his footballing ability, many would be surprised to see Richards line up for Villa on the first day of next season. With Richards also being English, he can contribute to the quota some teams have struggled to meet.
