Brendan Rogers
The Northern Irishman is currently available after departing Liverpool earlier in the season and is said to be keeping his options open but would prefer a Premier League return. Although he spent a great deal of money at Liverpool, Rodgers has his own style of football and sticks to it. Having gone so close to winning the Premier League after a remarkable season with the Reds, does he have what it takes to save Newcastle United at the other end of the table?
A brand or identity is what Newcastle has lacked in recent years and what the Geordie faithful have been crying out for since the Keegan days. This is something that given time, Rodgers would almost certainly bring to Tyneside. His work at Swansea should not be underestimated either and seems to have been forgotten by many fans that see his Liverpool reign as a failure. He is still young despite having been at the helm of a good few clubs, and his experiences in working with high calibre managers from his assistant managerial days stand him in good stead.
