TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
Local Lad
It appears that Tom Carroll has failed to follow in the footsteps of Harry Kane and Ryan Mason and break into the first team at White Heart Lane. Much of his time with Spurs has been spent on loan elsewhere and it looks as though the 23-year old will have to find himself new employment come next season.
WATFORD
Injured and Out?
Defender Joel Ekstrand is the only player set for release by Watford. The 27-year old Swede has seen his season ruined by injury and has not featured in a single match for the club since last term. The former Udinese defender has been linked with a return to Italy, with Sampdoria believed to be interested in his signature. Malaga have also reportedly been following his recovery with an eye on snapping him when his contract expires.
WEST BROMWICH ALBION
Big Hitters
West Brom could lose arguably two of their best players at the end of the season. James Morrison and Stéphane Sessègnon have both yet to be offered contract extensions and will be leaving the club as things stand. The duo bring a wealth of quality and experience to the Hawthorns so it would be a big surprise to see the club allow them to leave. Morrison; who has made close to 300 appearances for the Baggies, has been at the club since 2007 while Sessègnon joined the club in 2011.
WEST HAM UNITED
Oh, Joey
Last but not least is West Ham. The Hammers are yet to offer a contract to Joey O’Brien who has barely featured for the club this season. Should no deal be forthcoming, O’Brien will likely be plying his trade the Championship next season.
So, if they were to leave, who do you think would be missed most by their side, and whose time is most certainly up? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
