Tottenham have been linked with a host of players over the last six months, with Paulo Dybala and Federico Bernardeschi two of the names to emerge.
The Express claimed just a week or so ago that Dybala could be of interest to Jose Mourinho, while back in the summer, Calciomercato claimed Spurs were among the clubs looking at midfielder, Bernardeschi.

Of course, both deals would be dependant on a lot of factors and bricks falling into place. But with a report emerging from ESPN that Juventus could be willing to part ways with the pair, could Spurs and Mourinho have a genuine chance?
The report claims Juve would be willing to offer the pair to Man United in a deal for Paul Pogba. However, that would also suggest that the Italian team see the duo as dispensable. That, of course, could pave the way for Mourinho to upset the apple-cart.
Players of the highest quality
One of the big pluses of having Mourinho in charge is his draw and star power. We saw this summer with the return of Gareth Bale that the Spurs boss can lure the very best names in the game.
And while Juve might prefer to use Dybala and Bernardeschi to get their man in Pogba, there’s no reason why Mourinho can’t chuck a spanner in the works here and look to bring the pair to north London. Or, at least, one of them.

Dybala, naturally, would be the bigger name. The forward has been one of the standout players in Serie A for a number of years now and would bring genuine quality to the ranks. Bernardeschi, on the other hand, would likely be a squad player.
However, the door is seemingly ajar and if Mourinho and Tottenham did fancy making their move, the time seems as right as ever to strike for two players who the club have obvious interest in.
