Sergio Reguilon has made fantastic first impression since his reported £27 million move (Independent) to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Spaniard has come in and pretty much picked up where he left off playing on loan at Sevilla in 2019/20.
So far he’s turned out four times for Spurs, with three of those coming as starts.
Hopes are high that Reguilon can sustain his good form and ultimately prove to be a big upgrade on Ben Davies.
What’s been quite notable about Reguilon up to now, aside from his obvious quality on the pitch, is just how likeable and infectious he seems to be behind the scenes.
From the moment he first walked through the doors Reguilon made an impression on supporters – the wholesome way he reacted to seeing his name on a Spurs shirt for the first time striking a particular chord.

He smashed his first-team initiation song, delivering a confident rendition of ‘Soy yo’ by Nyno Vargas that went down a treat with his new teammates.
And the general word is that the 23-year-old is just a real character in the dressing room, and it very much seems like Spurs could well have another Heung-min Son type on their hands.
TBR View – Reguilon can become massive Son-style fan favourite
In terms of fan favourites at Tottenham, few really hold a candle to Heung-min Son, who is adored for his likeable personality and also world-class talent.
From what he’s shown so far Reguilon appears to be a brilliant and infectious character, and could very well become a world-class player in his position just like Son has become.
The South Korean – who joined the club at 23 just like Reguilon – has built a fantastic relationship with the fans that has probably really helped him get to where he is now, and that could very easily become the case with Reguilon, who is already looking like top business.
Spurs fans will be hoping Real Madrid – who supposedly have a buy-back clause for the player – don’t come and spoil the party.
