It’s been a quiet transfer window so far for Liverpool and fans are starting to get frustrated.
The main source of that frustration surrounds the Thiago situation.
It appears the club are unwilling or unable to pay the Spaniard’s asking price, thought to be around €30million/£27 million.
At the moment, only Kostas Tsimikas has come in, with Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren leaving.

Lovren’s departure was expected, and fans have wondered if the Croatia international will be replaced, or covered for by Fabinho.
Perhaps if Liverpool did want a centre-half but money was an issue, then Sampdoria’s Omar Colley could be a good, cost-effective option for Klopp.
The Gambia international is currently highly coveted, with teams from the Premier League like Southampton, Newcastle United and West Ham having all been linked, as well as Scottish giants Celtic.
Tantalisingly, Colley is reportedly on the market for just £10 million (Sky Sports), meaning a possible bargain awaits for somebody.
TBR’s View – Colley can replace Lovren
Liverpool ideally need someone who would be happy to fulfill a squad rotation role.

Colley is soon to turn 28, theoretically making him a ‘good age’ to play second fiddle to Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.
Standing at 6ft 3in tall, Colley is an imposing figure, but possesses decent ball-playing skills – evidenced by 81% and 88% pass success percentages in Serie A in the last two seasons.
Last term, Colley averaged 4.8 clearances per 90 which (WhoScored) was more than both van Dijk and Gomez in the Premier League last term, signalling him as a no-nonsense individual.
Liverpool could do a lot worse than to move for Colley – a transfer would not break the bank and he is clearly highly rated across Europe.
