Arsenal are being linked with a move for Bayer Leverkusen forward Kevin Volland.
According to a report from Sky Sports, the 10-cap Germany international could be targeted by new Gunners boss Mikel Arteta next month.

Apparently scouts have watched him several times in recent matches, and it has been suggested Arsenal could move to take advantage of his current contract, which has only 18 months left to run.
This term Volland has scored seven goals in all competitions and laid on seven assists.
Arsenal’s links to the star are interesting in that, they have had a player quite similar to Volland at the Emirates in the not too distant past.
TBR’s view – Arsenal’s new Podolski?
Arsenal signing Volland could give them their new Lukasz Podolski, who was a Gunner from 2012-2015.
Podolski was playing for FC Koln in the Bundesliga when Arsenal snapped him up, and he went on to become something of a crowd favourite at the Emirates.

Podolski was known for having a lethal left foot and being versatile enough to play in any position of a three-pronged attack.
Leverkusen star Volland can also operate anywhere in attack. Arguably, he doesn’t possess quite as much ferocity in his left foot as Podolski, but 72 goals and 61 assists in 237 German top-flight appearances suggests he certainly has decent quality.
