Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be keen on signing Bundesliga midfielder Kerem Demirbay this summer.
Calciomercato have reported that the German has emerged as a possible target for Nuno Espirito Santo, as he supposedly has a tantalising release clause of £22 million.
The playmaker has been in good form for Hoffenheim this term, scoring four goals and making nine assists in all competitions.

He has been impressing with his ability to dictate the tempo of games and has shown particularly good technical quality for a vibrant Hoffenheim side.
Demirbay, who was a part of the German Confederations Cup-winning team in 2017, could therefore wind up leaving the club this summer, but Wolves may find it would be to the detriment of one of their up-and-coming players.
TBR’s view
Demirbay would be a quality addition for Wolves and the release clause is no doubt very tempting, but him signing could be a barrier to the development of young Morgan Gibbs-White.
Gibbs-White is one of the Premier League’s most promising young players, and has shown flashes of brilliance in the top-flight this term.

The likelihood would be that Gibbs-White would see less game time next term if Demirbay signed, as the players operate in similar attacking midfield positions.
He already has Joao Moutinho for competition, but Demirbay coming in would potentially make life very difficult for the 19-year-old, who needs to be playing as regularly as possible.
