Jonathan Kodjia – Bristol City

Kodjia was signed for around 2 million pounds last season for newly promoted Bristol City, and the 26 year old enjoyed a superb debut season. The Ivorian tallied 19 league goals in 2015/16, the fourth best in the Championship. Incidentally, his goals accounted for more than a third of the Robins’ total amount, and he scored four more goals than Moussa Dembele. Kodjia has proven himself to be an elite Championship scorer, even for a team who finished in the bottom half of the league table.

Furthermore, Bristol City manager Lee Johnson has admitted that Kodjia will be attracting increased interest over the summer, and seems resigned to the fact that his striker could be persuaded to transfer. With Shahid Khan’s backing, Fulham could clutch Kodjia from Bristol’s grasps and add a proven Championship goal scorer to their squad.
