Leeds United picked up a talent for the future in January, with the signature of Mateusz Bogusz from Ruch Chorzow. The fee was undisclosed for the talented Polish teenager. However, Przeglad Sportowy suggested it was in the region of €200,000 (£172,000), with the likes of Stade de Reims anf Brighton and Hove Albion also keen.
Not many fans thought they would see him in the first-team picture before the end of the campaign.
However, with injuries stretching the club thin, Bogusz was on the bench at the weekend for Leeds United’s fixture against Aston Villa.

So could he play a role?
Bogusz is considered a top talent but it is surely too soon for the 17-year-old to be thrust into the spotlight, especially with the play-offs around the corner?
But Marcelo Bielsa is a mercurial manager and it would not be unimaginable for him to throw in Bogusz at some point over the coming weeks.
Leeds do not have the biggest squad and injuries have plagued them this season.
The teenager has made a big impact at the club in a short timespan. If he finds himself featuring for the first-team in upcoming fixtures, he could make an even bigger one.
