Could Liverpool use Rhian Brewster in Jadon Sancho pursuit?

Liverpool teenager Rhian Brewster is someone that is extremely highly-rated after coming through the club’s academy, but he could reportedly depart Anfield for more minutes.

According to the Guardian, German club Borussia Dortmund want to make a raid for the 19-year-old striker and Championship outfit Leeds United are also keen.

It is understood that the Reds are weighing up the decision to let the attacker depart on loan, as he’s played just two senior games all season.

Liverpool should look at the situation with Brewster and sense a potential opportunity to try strike a deal with Dortmund.

The Independent have previously reported that Jurgen Klopp’s team are joined by the likes Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid in showing an interest in Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

It is explained that the Bundesliga side may be prepared to listen to offers for the senior England international in January and that it would take a fee of over £100million for him.

He is exactly the type of high-profile addition that would add even more firepower at Anfield and would fit the Klopp mould.

Sancho has seven goals and nine assists in just 19 Dortmund games this season, while his reputation as one of the world’s best young players has soared during his time in Germany.

The right-winger has all the potential to tear it up in the Premier League and Klopp has to keep improving despite his team flying high at the top of English football.

Liverpool will have major competition if they want to win the race for Sancho, but it could be worth them trying to include Brewster as part of the deal.

There are several young English players that have tried out in Germany, so offering up Brewster on an 18-month loan as part of a swoop for Sancho could be an intriguing one.
