Kasey Palmer is today being linked with a move away from Bristol City, with Swansea reportedly eyeing up the former Chelsea man for a loan move.

According to Sky Sports, the Swans are keen on landing the 23-year-old. This is despite Palmer being a squad regular for the Robins this term under Lee Johnson.
However, Palmer has not started many games. Most of his appearances have come from the bench, seemingly opening the door for a potential January move.
But with Swansea showing interest, could Leeds United also throw their name into the hat to try and sign Palmer?
Versatility
Kasey Palmer is certainly a player who can occupy a number of positions. He’s capable of playing on either flank while also having the quality to operate as a number ten if needed.
With Leeds losing Jack Clarke due to a Spurs recall, there could well be a place in the squad available.
Palmer would surely relish the chance of moving to Elland Road. Promotion is looking increasingly likely for the Yorkshire club. Being part of that success under Marcelo Bielsa might be a priceless experience for the midfielder.
Time to strengthen
Leeds will be very conscious of a capitulation like last season. They led the Championship by ten points at one point before being clawed back by both Norwich and Sheffield United. That simply cannot happen this time around.
Marcelo Bielsa will be desperate to ensure his squad keeps going this time. Therefore, strengthening the team in January will be a must-do.

In Kasey Palmer, Leeds would be getting a proven player at this level. Furthermore, there’s scope for big improvement too with him.
Working under a coach like Bielsa will only improve his game. Palmer will benefit, while Leeds will hopefully reap the rewards of adding a quality young player to the ranks.
It’s certainly one worth pondering for Angus Kinnear and co at Elland Road.
