A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to praise academy winger Charlie Farr for his brace in Friday night’s Premier League 2 game.
The 18-year-old was on target twice in an exhilarating 4-4 draw with Crystal Palace at Bodymoor Heath.
Farr played a big role in the opener, his free kick parried by Jacob Russell into the path of Kaine Kesler, who struck on the rebound.

John-Kymani Gordon equalised for Palace on the half-hour mark but Villa went back ahead just before the break.
Farr grabbed his first of the night following another error from the away goalkeeper.
Harlem Hale headed home after the break to make it 2-2, but Farr then got his second with a clinical finish.
Carney Chukwuemeka, who had struck the woodwork earlier in the game, made it four with a superb curling effort into the top corner.
Palace struck back almost immediately through Brandon Aveiro, before Jude Russell got Palace’s equaliser with just three minutes left to play.
Farr’s performance prompted some Villa supporters on social media to praise his efforts:
Described as a “promising wide player” on the club website, Farr played for Villa’s Under-18s last season before stepping up to the Under-23s this term.
