Wolves put Arsenal to the sword last night as they continue their push for a seventh-place finish in the Premier League this season.
A devastating start to the game had Wolves 3-0 up and they went on to secure all three points with a 3-1 win.
Several of the Wolves players have received plaudits this season. Raul Jimenez up front, Ruben Neves in midfield and Conor Coady at the back.
However, Willy Boly and Diogo Jota have both been immense in recent weeks.
Whilst their presence at Molineux does have a lot to do with Jorge Mendes’ influence at the club, reports after both players signed suggest it was Nuno Espirito Santo who was key.

After Boly decided to join the club on an initial loan from Porto it was reported by A Bola that Nuno was the reason. He reportedly convinced him over the phone of a long-term plan at the club which saw the Frenchman decide on the move.
After Jota arrived in a similar fashion, AS reported similarly. They said the Portuguese forward was not keen on Wolves before Nuno again spoke with the player and convinced him otherwise.
Both turned their loan deals into permanent ones, Boly reportedly costing £10 million (Express and Star) and Jota £12.3 million (MARCA), a combined total of £22.3 million.
Nuno is massively popular at Wolves and his likeable nature and vision for the future is equally attractive to top players. Perhaps he will convince other big names to head to Molineux in the summer, ahead of a potential European campaign?
