Tottenham Hotspur will hope to make amends for their defeat to Burnley by bouncing back away at Leeds today.

Spurs were sensational against Manchester City last week, but then fell to a meek 1-0 loss in midweek.

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has been without Sergio Reguilon for a few weeks.

The Spurs coach opted to keep him on the bench last time out.

Ryan Sessegnon has been filling in at left wing-back, but sadly he’s not been having the best of times.

The £25million man was unfortunate to come off early against Wolves as Conte made a tactical switch.

While Sessegnon did well against Manchester City, he still looked hesitant on the ball at times.

And against Burnley, the 21-year-old looked short of confidence and lacked incisiveness in the final third.

Admittedly, Sessegnon has also been unlucky.

He was the fall guy against Wolves and the free kick he conceded for Burnley’s goal was harsh.

However, the stakes are too high for Tottenham and Conte now, so maybe it’s best if Reguilon comes back in for now.

Conte is clearly a fan of Sessegnon, and it’s no surprise really, as he’s a great talent.

However, the Italian has also spoken of the pressure Sessegnon feels at times.

“Sess in my vision has all the possibility to become an important player,” he said, as reported by Football London.

“First of all he is young and has in front of him a lot of years. He is strong physically and fast, has a good engine, a resilience.

“He has good quality. Sometimes I think he feels a bit of pressure.

“But with me he played important games, against Liverpool, against Chelsea, against City. It means I trust him.”

If Spurs do well against Leeds and race into a healthy lead, then perhaps Sessegnon could come on for the latter stages.

But for now, he shouldn’t have too much pressure placed on his shoulders.
