Leeds United winger Ezgjan Alioski is now just one game away from potentially competing at Euro 2020 with North Macedonia.
The £15,000-a-week Whites ace played the full 90 minutes as his nation hosted Kosovo in Thursday night’s playoff semi-final in Skopje.
Alioski had a fairly mixed game, earning a booking during the encounter and spurning a great opportunity on 69 minutes, but also weighing in with several decent efforts too.

It was a tense match between two sides hoping to make history, and in the end, North Macedonia won 2-1 against a Kosovo outfit missing three key players.
The hosts took the lead on the quarter-hour mark when Stefan Ristovski’s mis-hit effort came off defender Benjamin Kololli and crept inside the post,
An error from North Macedonia goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski saw Florent Hadergjonaj chip the ball into the net from long range in the 29th minute.
However, the home side then retook the lead four minutes later when Darko Velkovski rose to head in from a free kick, a goal which proved to be the winner.
North Macedonia will face Georgia in their playoff final on 12 November, the winner earning a place in next year’s championships.
And plenty of fans congratulated Alioski for his efforts on the night:
