There have been conflicting reports regarding Argentina international Juan Foyth and a potential move to Leeds United this summer.
According to multiple reports in his homeland, the Tottenham defender is all set to become a Leeds player from August.
Olé are suggesting that the player is set to join Leeds on loan in the summer. BolaVip claims that Tottenham have ‘reached an agreement’ with Leeds for a 2020-21 loan deal.
It would certainly be an eye-catching move for Leeds. Foyth could prove a brilliant replacement for Ben White, who is likely to return to Brighton after his sensational loan spell at Elland Road.
However, despite these reports, another source in Argentina has poured cold water on the deal.
TNT Sports has stated Foyth ‘did not receive any proposal from Leeds’ and is going to wait until the start of the transfer market before considering a move away from Tottenham.

Foyth has long been linked with a move to Leeds, owing to Mauricio Pochettino’s admiration for the player and his countryman Marcelo Bielsa’s links to the ex-Tottenham boss.
Indeed, Bielsa’s own former staff member Gabriel Macaya confirmed to CieloSports last month that Bielsa had him scouting Foyth during their time at Lille in 2017 , prior to the defender joining Tottenham in a reported £8 million (BBC) deal.
Indeed, Foyth has confirmed he may need to leave Tottenham this summer, after falling out of favour with Pochettino’s successor Jose Mourinho. The 22-year-old told TNT in April that the ‘best thing’ for his career might be a Spurs departure, having not featured for the club since December.
But for now, it would appear Leeds have not yet spoken to Foyth about a deal and this rumour will continue to rumble on until the Argentine finds himself a new home, Elland Road or not.
