Spurs are in Carabao Cup action tonight, hoping to reach the fourth round of the competition.

Tottenham reached the final last season, only to fall at the final hurdle – can they go a step further this year?

Nuno Espirito Santo’s charges are certainly in need of a confidence boost at the very least.

Spurs began the season so well, only to lose form after the international break.

The north Londoners won their first three Premier League games 1-0, but have lost their last two 3-0.

Now, Nuno will be facing Wolves for the second time this season, and will hope to get another win over his former employers.

Here is who the Spurs boss has picked in his starting XI and bench:

Nuno has opted for Pierluigi Gollini in goal and a back four of Japhet Tanganga, Cristian Romero, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies.

In midfield, Oliver Skipp starts alongside Dele Alli and Tanguy Ndombele.

Alli makes his sixth start of the season – a far cry from life under Jose Mourinho.

Meanwhile, Ndombele makes his second start of the season, testament to the hard work he’s put in winning Nuno over.

And up front, Harry Kane leads the line, with Giovani Lo Celso and Bryan Gil either side of him.

Phenomenal” academy striker Dane Scarlett has to make do with a spot on the bench.

Academy goalkeeper Brandon Austin is also amongst the subs.
