Leeds United are in advanced talks to sign Dan James from Manchester United.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Elland Road side are in negotiations to sign the 23-year-old winger from the Red Devils. The transfer window shuts in under 36 hours.

James joined United in 2019 for a reported fee of £15m according to BBC Sport. However, this summer has seen Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo join the Manchester giants.

Indeed, Leeds have held an interest in James for some time. The winger was on the brink of signing for the Yorkshire side in 2019. However, a transfer collapsed due to time running out.

But two years later, a deal finally looks to be on the horizon for the winger. Leeds are in need of more quality in the attack, and James appears to be close to joining the Premier League side.
