‘Confident and comfortable’ – Arsenal fans react to Granit Xhaka’s performance against Man City

Arsenal comfortably saw off Manchester City at Wembley yesterday and Gunners fans were loving the performance of their team, including that of midfielder, Granit Xhaka.

The Swiss powerhouse put in another accomplished display in the midfield to help put Pep Guardiola’s men to the sword and help Mikel Arteta to his first final as a manager.

Xhaka, who came under fire previously after clashing with Gunners supporters, seems a new man under Arteta.

Playing a deep-lying midfield role, he’s become integral to the system which Arteta is trying to deploy. And yesterday, his calmness, quality, and assurance on the ball were on full display.

Gunners fans, then, were loving what they saw from Xhaka, with plenty of their fans taking to Twitter to sing his praises.

It seems things have gone full circle for Xhaka and Arsenal fans wanted to let him know just how they felt following the win over City yesterday.
