Tottenham Hotspur wing-back Ryan Sessegnon has been speaking to the club’s official website and was seriously impressed with Rodrigo Bentancur yesterday.
Spurs came from two goals down to beat Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. Antonio Conte’s men were underwhelming for the first 50 minutes and allowed Gary O’Neil’s side to gain a real foothold in the game.
Kieffer Moore bagged his second goal of the afternoon in the 49th minute and Spurs looked to be heading to three consecutive Premier League defeats.
But Sessegnon started the comeback as he finished excellently into the bottom corner just after the hour mark.
Rodrigo Bentancur was introduced just minutes after and the Uruguayan eventually grabbed a stoppage time winner for Spurs. And Sessegnon was seriously impressed by the £20 million man’s display from midfield.

Sessegnon seriously impressed with Bentancur
Speaking to Spurs Play, the 22-year-old was asked about Bentancur’s stoppage time winner.
“Composure at its finest,” Sessegnon said.
“He’s a very composed player and I had no doubts when he was stood up there to guide it into the goal.”
Bentancur certainly gave Spurs more control in midfield after his introduction. It’s no coincidence that Conte’s men went on to score two goals after he replaced Yves Bissouma.
The 25-year-old took his stoppage time opportunity brilliantly after the ball fell to him kindly in the Bournemouth penalty area.
The Spurs midfielder guided the ball into Mark Travers’ goal to hand Conte’s men all three points.

Bentancur has been in impressive form this season alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in midfield.
The former Juventus man also scored in midweek against Sporting Lisbon to give Spurs an important point in the Champions League.
Conte had decided to rest Bentancur yesterday but they missed his influence in midfield massively during the first hour of the game.
The Italian will be hoping the hour’s rest will benefit Bentancur ahead of a massive clash against Marseille on Tuesday night.
