Rangers fan Andy Halliday fulfilled a boyhood dream with a man of the match performance in an Old Firm derby clash.
At Ibrox yesterday, Rangers edged out bitter rivals Celtic thanks to Ryan Jack’s first half goal.
And that win moved Steven Gerrard’s men level on points with the Bhoys in the race for the Scottish Premiership title.
Lifelong Gers supporter Halliday played with passion and heart, helping his side keep Celtic at bay.
And it is even more admirable considering what the 27-year-old has had to do to get to this stage in his career.
Released by Rangers as a schoolboy back in 2006, Halliday carved out his career for Livingston and then down in England before returning to Scotland.

In 2015, the central midfielder, who also plays at left-back, re-joined Rangers but has received criticism from fans in the past.
After spending last season on loan in Azerbaijan with Gabala FK, Halliday returned to Rangers this season with a point to prove.
And he has established himself as a regular with consistent performances, which earned him the chance to down Celtic.
Here are some things Rangers fans are saying about their homegrown hero.
