A number of Arsenal fans have welcomed the report claiming the Gunners will not be pursuing Christian Eriksen in the January transfer window.
According to Calciomercato, Inter Milan are willing to let the 28-year-old, potentially on loan, to get him off their wage bill – £100,000-per-week after tax, according to The Times.
However, despite missing out on Dominik Szoboszlai, Arsenal aren’t thought to be interested in Eriksen, and have rejected the chance to take him on.

The Denmark international has struggled to establish himself as a regular in the Inter Milan line-up since joining for a reported £18million just under a year ago.
Eriksen shone at Tottenham Hotspur, making 305 competitive appearances for Arsenal’s rivals and registering 69 goals and 89 assists.
However, he has made just 38 appearances for Inter in all competitions, with only 12 of those coming from the start, and looks as though he is surplus to Antonio Conte’s requirements.
Given Arsenal have had their fair share of underperforming older players this year, quite a few Gunners fans are happy that their side is reportedly not looking to pursue the former Spurs man.
