Nottingham Forest are closing in on the signing of Bordeaux’s Hwang Ui-jo, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Reds, now back in the Premier League after 23 years, have already made 16 signings this summer.
And now, it looks as though summer signing number 17 beckons for Forest.

However, Hwang won’t be plying his trade at the City Ground this season, Romano has written on Twitter.
The South Korea international will reportedly join Forest on a three-year deal before going on loan to Olympiacos.
Reds owner Evangelos Marinakis also owns the Greek giants.
Forest will pay €5m (around £4.2m) for Hwang, added Romano.
L’Equipe – via Sport Witness – has also provided an update on Forest’s pursuit of Hwang.
The French outlet claims the 29-year-old was initially reluctant to link up with the Reds only to go out on loan.
However, Hwang ‘would have finally accepted the idea’ of the transfer.
Indeed, L’Equipe cited a source close to the negotiations saying the move to Nottingham Forest is ‘basically done’.
There was also interest from France, where Nantes and Brest were reportedly keen on Hwang.
However, the striker has always favoured a move to the Premier League above all, added the report.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have also been linked with Hwang.
