Clive Allen has described Tottenham striker Harry Kane as an instinctive finisher and has huge admiration as him as a player.
The centre-forward came from the academy ranks at Spurs and has gone on to become a pivotal first-team player, with his development helped from a number of loan spells away from the club.
He’s scored 171 goals in 263 senior games for the North London outfit and is extremely consistent in front of goal.
The England captain has has been part of a Spurs team massively struggling for form so far this campaign and they have a lot of pressure on them at home to Watford at the weekend.
But the striker still has seven goals in 10 games this season across all competitions and a lot of focus will be on him to dig his side out of trouble.
Allen, who is a former Spurs forward and was a coach at the club when Kane was emerging, has raved about his natural ability.
“You can’t teach instinct, and scoring is instinct. Harry had that, no doubt. He possessed a real knack of being in the right place at the right time,” Allen told the Telegraph.
“But he also had the mentality to improve; all I could do was ask the question of him. And he had answers. I have nothing but admiration for him. He worked tirelessly on everything he knew he could improve.”

TBR’s View:
Kane is well on his way to becoming a Premier League great already and it’s easy to see why Spurs fans love him.
The 26-year-old is a brilliant striker that can all variety of goals and rising Spurs talent Troy Parrott has a perfect example to try emulate.
He’s continued to chip in with goals for Mauricio Pochettino’s side during a difficult season so far and they need him more than ever to continue firing on all cylinders.
Kane got the boost of two goals and three assists for England over the international break in two fixtures and Spurs should hope he can carry that momentum into the weekend.
