'Clear of Raphinha': West Ham fans praise Jarrod Bowen for Brentford display
West Ham came from behind only to see Brentford snatch a late winner today, as Jarrod Bowen scored to once again enhance his reputation further.
The former Hull City winger has been catching the eye under David Moyes, with Liverpool among the teams said to be keen on the wide forward.
The Hammers couldn’t quite muster a win against what was a well organised but good footballing Brentford side. The Bees have impressed under Thomas Frank, and they nicked all three points at the end thanks to a goal from Yoane Wissa.
For West Ham fans, it was a tad frustrating not to get the any points but the performance of Bowen was something for supporters to shout about. Bowen seems to be going from strength to strength, and Twitter was full of fans from both the West Ham end and wider praising the winger.
It seems if the Hammers are to do anything this season, then Bowen will be integral. And that seemed to be the consensus among some fans on social media.
Here, then, is what some supporters had to say about Bowen’s performance.
Jarrod Bowen’s so underrated
