‘Clear of Balogun’, ‘future No. 9’: Some Arsenal fans tip 20-year-old Hale End star for success

A number of Arsenal fans have welcomed Tyreece John-Jules’ latest Twitter message in which he says he’s edging closer to a return from injury.

The Hale End striker is currently on loan at Doncaster but returned to North London to recover from a hamstring injury he suffered in January.

John-Jules was initially expected to be sidelined for two to three months, but it is hoped he’ll play some part before the end of Rovers’ League One campaign.

To date, the 20-year-old has made 14 appearances for his loan club, scoring three goals and registering two assists.

On Tuesday, John-Jules sent the following message out to fans, along with pictures of him stepping up his recovery:

Some Arsenal fans are excited to see what the future holds for John-Jules and hope he can make his breakthrough to Mikel Arteta’s first team next term:

John-Jules has been part of the Arsenal youth setup since he was eight, and signed his first professional contract in early 2018.

A clinical finisher who’s classy on the ball, the skilful forward often starts through the middle, but can also play as a shadow striker or on the left wing.
