Midfielder linked with Arsenal and Liverpool shines in 8/10 display against Manchester City
Reported Arsenal and Liverpool target Yves Bissouma continues to make waves for his current club.
The 24-year-old, who plies his trade for Brighton, is thought to have been on the Gunners’ radar for a number of months, and has recently been linked with Anfield too.
According to a football.london report from January, Arsenal made contact with Michael N’Cho, Bissouma’s agent, during the winter transfer window.
The report also claimed that the Mali international would choose the Gunners over any other Premier League club if they came in for him.
The same outlet reported earlier this month that Arsenal remain keen on Bissouma going into the summer transfer window.
The Sunday World, meanwhile, claimed late last month that Liverpool are now also in pursuit of Bissouma.
On Tuesday night, the midfielder – who Gary Lineker previously deemed “exceptional” – shone as Brighton beat Manchester City 3-2 at the Amex Stadium.

The Brighton & Hove Independent rated him 8/10 and wrote: “A classy display from the Mali international.
“Disciplined throughout the 90 minutes and helped to break up City’s speedy attacks. Was it an Amex farewell?”
Meanwhile, 90min gave him 7/10 and wrote: “Does everything competently and with a certain degree of class. Can see why big clubs are looking at him.”
Bissouma joined Brighton from Lille in 2018 for a reported £15million fee, and has made 95 appearances for the Seagulls, including 38 this season.
He is contracted to the Amex Stadium outfit until the summer of 2023.
