Christopher Jullien makes exciting claim about Celtic squad

In comments reported by STV, Christopher Jullien has claimed that the current Celtic squad represents the best group of players that he has played alongside.

The 26-year-old has been a fantastic addition to Neil Lennon’s ranks. And the Hoops are currently flying. They top the Scottish Premiership with 10 wins coming in their opening 12 games.

The Bhoys have also taken just four games to book their ticket to the knockout stages of the Europa League. And they know that a victory against Cluj would guarantee top spot.

And following the brilliant start to the campaign, the 26-year-old – who joined for £7 million in the summer, according to BBC Sport – made a major statement regarding the quality within the squad.

“I am surrounded by the best players I have played with before,” he said, as reported by STV. “My team mates just now are simply the best that I have played with, it is so much easier to play well when you are playing with team mates like this.

“We have such good chemistry and I just try to do my job and if that is good for the club then that is all that matters.”

It has been a remarkable spell for Celtic. They have won their last seven games in all competitions. That included two dramatic victories against Lazio, and emphatic wins against the likes of Ross County, Aberdeen and Hibernian.

December is going to be a fascinating month for the Hoops. As well as facing Cluj in Europe, Celtic face Rangers in the Scottish League Cup final. And the two Old Firm rivals will also meet in the league at the end of the year.

Given how both sides have been playing lately, it would be no surprise if goal difference remained the only difference between the two ahead of their meeting at Parkhead.
