Christian Eriksen finally waved goodbye to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium yesterday, saying farewell after seven years.
The Danish playmaker has signed for Inter Milan for £16.9 million (Sky Sports).
He proved a hugely popular figure in North London having arrived from Ajax in 2013.
Eriksen was one of seven players signed with the money which the club recouped from selling Gareth Bale.
The man with 95 caps for his country made 305 appearances for Tottenham, scoring 69 goals and registered 89 assists.
Following his departure from a club where he was held in high regard, Eriksen has taken to Instagram with a heartfelt message to the supporters.

Dear Tottenham fans @spursofficial I dont know where to start! I didnt have time to say goodbye to everyone, even though i felt like i played a lot of games where everyone said and thought i would be gone the next day. I have so many unbelivable memories over the last 6,5 years i was at Spurs. I enjoyed being at the training ground every day and playing games in the stadium so much, but sometimes you just want to try something new! So, Spurs fans it has been a pleasure to play at your club and hopefully we meet again in the future! All the best Christian
Some Tottenham fans might not forgive Eriksen for the way his form has dipped off this season.
Others will realise what a quality servant he proved during his time at the football club.
Eriksen was unfortunate not to lead Spurs to a trophy but success can be measured in other ways.
During his seven-year stay at the club, Spurs have become regular Champions League entrants and that is down in no small part to the form of Eriksen.
He has scored some vitally important goals over the years and when the dust settles Tottenham fans will surely appreciate his efforts.
Tottenham would have lost Eriksen for free in the summer, making it the perfect time to cash in on the player.
