Arsenal made very light work of Sheffield United on Monday night, the Gunners heading back down the M1 with all three points after a 6-0 win.
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard opened the scoring in the fifth minute before Jayden Bogle scored an own goal on 13 minutes and Gabriel Martinelli added a third on the quarter-hour mark.
Kai Havertz made it 4-0 in the 25th minute, fellow summer signing Declan Rice added a fifth on 39 minutes, and Ben White wrapped up the scoring with one third of the game still to go.
Although Bukayo Saka didn’t get on the scoresheet for Arsenal, he delivered an outstanding performance, complete with two assists, that left the Blades defence in the dust.

The 22-year-old was so good on the night that Chris Wilder opted to make a change in the opening 16 minutes to try and thwart him, to no avail.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta had the luxury of being able to take Saka off at the break, with the Gunners already five goals to the good by then.
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka ‘took us to pieces’
Wilder, speaking to Premier League Productions after the game, said: “I don’t think we were very good.
“We didn’t gift goals away but in certain situations, we could do a lot better from a defensive point of view.
“They were outstanding especially when they got around the edge of the box, their quick play was incredible.
“We made it pretty easy for them to open us up and Saka took us to pieces down that side.
“We didn’t have an answer to anything they had. The result is what the result is and we have to live with it.”
Saka continues to go from strength to strength for Arsenal, and surely at this point he can be considered “world-class”.
The Gunners will fancy their chances of claiming silverware this season, with how they’re playing. Now we’re in March, things are starting to get tasty.
