Arsenal are in FA Cup third-round action this weekend when they host Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
The Gunners have endured a difficult festive period, slipping from first in the Premier League table to fourth after 20 games.
Now, Arsenal will turn their attentions to the FA Cup, a competition they’ve usually done well in even during their more difficult periods.
Unfortunately for the Gunners, they’re up against the current Premier League leaders in the most highly anticipated tie of the round.
‘I think you will go berserk’
Top-flight teams have a tendency to rotate their squads for the earlier rounds of cup competitions, and this is likely to be the case for Arsenal and Liverpool on Sunday.
However, Chris Sutton believes the Gunners faithful won’t be pleased with Mikel Arteta if he rings the changes for the match against Jurgen Klopp’s Reds.

Speaking on the It’s All Kicking Off! podcast, the pundit feels Arsenal’s fans may “go berserk” if that happens.
“I think Arteta has tinkered a little bit in the past and made changes,” began Sutton.
“But I think it’s one where at this moment in the season, where Arsenal were, if they were top of the league by a few points as Liverpool are maybe Arteta could change.
“But if you are an Arsenal fan and you see Arteta make wholesale changes I think you will go berserk.”
FA Cup may now be most realistic trophy for Arsenal this season – TBR View
Arsenal began the season very well, but unfortunately some of their main weaknesses have been exposed in recent weeks.
For instance, the Gunners have struggled at left-back. Oleksandr Zinchenko has been quite error-prone, and Jakub Kiwior hasn’t impressed either.
At the other end of the pitch, Arsenal haven’t got a clinical striker who can make the most of every opportunity. Gabriel Jesus has a lot of strengths, but he has also missed a lot of chances.
With that in mind, some at Arsenal may feel that the FA Cup is their most realistic chance of silverware this term. Naming a weakened squad probably wouldn’t go down well with some supporters.
