Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has been vocal all season about his former club but he took to Twitter last night to sing the praises of two Bhoys players.
Neil Lennon’s side ended their Europa League campaign on a high with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Lille. Goals from Callum McGregor, Christopher Julien, and David Turnbull were enough to see the French side off.

It was a good end to anotherwise dour European campaign for Celtic. And Sutton, who had earlier praised Rangers for their win over Lech, picked out David Turnbull and Ismaila Soro for praise.
Celtic fans, too, seemed to be in agreement with Sutton, with plenty of comments on social media suggesting that the pair should be given more league opportunities in the coming weeks.
It remains to be seen, however, if Neil Lennon was suitably impressed enough to make those calls.

Nobody has been more critical of some of Celtic’s performances this season than Chris Sutton but even he could have little to complain about last night.
Both Turnbull and Soro, as he pointed out, put in fine displays and Sutton was right to praise them.
For Celtic, they’ll need more of the same and a Rangers catastrophe if they’re to have any hope of reigniting their season.
